Can clip-in hair extensions damage your natural hair?

Can you sleep, shower, or swim in clip-in hair extensions?

We don’t recommend any of the three. Sleeping in clip-ins tangles both the extensions and your natural hair. Showering or swimming in them soaks the clips (which can rust over time) and the wefts (which can slip).
